I’ve got another new idea.
This time, it’s concerning poetry.
I think it’s a wise idea to read poetry aloud,
but for some reason,
I haven’t been doing it.
So I’m going to pick a book a month and read it aloud,
hoping that the words have fun dancing around in my mouth
and then my own writing,
when I read it aloud,
will strive to dance too.
This month’s selection is this book, by Billy Collins.
Do you read a lot of poetry?
I take recommendations π
P.S. That yellow thing around the bottom is my library’s “LUCKY DAY!” promotion.
They take hot titles and make more copies of them available.
You can’t reserve them; they’re just out and about in a big display by the checkout.
You can take two at a time, and have them for three weeks, but no renewals after that.
This copy is due soon! but I just reserved another one that’s NOT lucky day, so no worries π
Until next time,
KE
Billy Collins is my favorite. I’ve also been loving Dobby Gibson lately.
I knew you’d have a rec for me π
