The first book I found at a thrift store for a dollar. ONE DOLLAR? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So of course I scooped it up, then instantly loved it.
The second book I picked up from the library after being amaze that James Marshall had NO training in Art at all.
The third was another thrifttown buy, and very cute.
The fourth was a thriftown score as well. You have to look long and hard, but you are able to find great books there. This was a mini book and honestly was so cute I couldn’t pass it up.
And the last book I actually paid full price for (GASP!) at my independent bookstore. I just thought it looked good, and I have been into a lot of graphic novels lately.
So, Reading Journal Books 130-134 are:
Ish by Peter H. Reynolds
Goldilocks and the three bears retold and illustrated by James Marshall
I’m as quick as a cricket by Audrey Wood, illustrated by Don Wood
We’re going on a bear hunt by Michael Rosen, illustrated by Helen Oxenbury
and
The Odyssey, a graphic novel by Gareth Hinds

Whew. Flying through March.
