One of my favorite movies when I was a kid was
The Three Ninjas.
I did karate as a kid,
and had three siblings,
and imagined that someday we would get attacked
and we’d know JUST what to do to save the day.
NO ONE is getting attacked in this book though; don’t worry 🙂

I love the art in this book.
The layouts are almost like comic book pages,
and they are so easy to follow.
The voice is awesome as well. It’s like you’re watching the ninja but also being the ninja at the exact same time!
I love the speech bubbles too.
This book is action packed, which works because it’s about an active little ninja.
Great read aloud too! Who doesn’t love Ninjas?
Great verbs…keeping things active!

Again, format rules!
Kids LOVE to pretend they’re someone or something else! This story is proof of that!
