Kathy Ellen (yes she goes by both names) Davis
is a Mama, a writer, a bookseller, an artist, and a dancer.
She spends most of her day watching her daughter and trying her best
to squeeze in some reading and writing time.
When she’s not reading or writing picture books and middle grade novels, she’s helping to sell them at Hicklebee’s, a magical independent bookstore in San Jose California, working on another hand lettering project, or playing board games with her husband. She lives with her family in Santa Clara, CA.

-once a firefighter who frequently got to drive the fire truck.
-paper carrier of the year in New York State at 12 years old.

Kathy Ellen is:
-confident she could win an eating contest if what she had to eat was
