125-129: Rhyme the season, George and Ben. The evolution? When you reach me.

The first two books I found just when searching for poetry, and I loved them. I want to own the second one. As soon as I can.

The third book I had seen around quite a bit, but most notably in the library at one of the schools I work at. I actually bought it at their bookfair, and found out a lot of good info that I could use in my job, if we already didn’t have so much to pack into 2.5 hours!

The fourth book was another buy, this time at the Borders store as it was closing. I had seen the book before and thought it would be a good read. I was right!

The fifth book was bought too, with the intention of attending the Young Adult reading group at Bookshop Santa Cruz. I didn’t go, but I did get the ten percent off the book. I loved the book.

So, RJ books 125-129 are:

Rhyme Time around the day compiled by John Foster, illustrated by Carol Thompson
Season: A book of poems by Charlotte Zolotow, illustrated by Erik Blegvad
John, Paul, George, and Ben by Lane Smith
The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly
and
When you Reach Me by Rebecca Stead

Rhyming all the time
John Paul

So there you have it, more books.
I’m on a roll and I’m not about to stop!

Coming up next:

One of my favorite author/illustrators at a good price!
A story you all know
Some wordplay for kids
Going on a hunt
and
One long epic journey with Homer.

until next time, read and write on,
KE
