53 and 54: The Professor’s bubble.

This first book came from helping sort out the stacks at the library. This day when I went in, there weren’t any books to put away! I know, this hardly ever happens. So they had me go over to the graphic novels. And that’s where I found this one. I was interested by the mummy on the cover. And I really enjoyed it! I wish I could write a graphic novel. Someday??

The second book is one that I had heard about online somewhere, probably a list of books I should really read or something like that, and it was really fun! Such great language to read aloud, and who doesn’t love bubbles?

Reading Journal is kicking off February with books 53 and 54:

The Professor’s Daughter by Joann Sfar and Emmanuel Guibert
and
Bubble Trouble by Margaret Mahy, illustrated by Polly Dunbar

Professor Bubble

Coming up next?
An author who has already been in this book, but a new character this time! (bet you can’t guess who it is….)

read and write on!
