Hey everyone.
Whew was September busy!
I spent a fun two weeks in a 2nd grade Waldorf classroom, helping them get ready for a play, and learning from them and their teacher! Really REALLY fun, and then I started work, so reading and writing has taken the back seat for a while…
But it’s back with gusto!
Some upcoming exciting events:
October 13th: Fall preview at the new found love of my life: Hicklebee’s bookstore.
October 25th: Listening to Brian Selznick, author and illustrator of the new book, Wonderstruck.
October 31: Halloween, where I will most likely be dressing up for my capoeira class, possibly as my new alter-ego, thanks to work, called Mighty Bright.
Also, look for more books being posted in Reading Journal. The year is almost over, and my goal of 600 books is getting closer to being reached!! More drawings should be going up soon on my little drawing blog, AND I started an etsy store.
As if I need anything else to keep my busy, I’ve decided to come up with a new project, called the:
REAL LIFE LETTER PROJECT
Where, yes, I write people real life letters.
You will see more about it later.
Ok, just thought I would check in.
Hope everyone is reading, writing, and having some great October fun!
