Adventures at Hicklebee’s: Balloon Day!

So, everyone knows I LOVE Hicklebee’s.

If you’re ever in San Jose, YOU HAVE TO GO.
They always have awesome authors and illustrators come visit,
they always have the best deals,
AND they have the game card.

Here’s my card from last year.

And I’ll let the card explain Balloon Day.

I went with a plan.
I needed to buy books for the SCBWI LA conference.
I made a list on my phone, using the app CLEAR.


I went to work finding books,
but couldn’t find some of them.
Not for lack of help from the Hicklebee’s staff though!
They’re AWESOME!
They searched high and low.

But guess what?
You can order them!

Here’s what I ordered, to arrive at a later date:

And I saved 48.50!
Because I got 25% off. YAY!
Also shown, a two dollar bill.
