You know how much I LOVE to read.
(in fact, a reading round up post is due to come out, um, yesterday…)
And you know how much I love fun reading ideas.
Well, here’s a fun one:
It’s called a BOOKDARE!
It’s the idea of Adam Lehrhaupt, the author behind:
Warning: Do Not Open This Book,
which has monkeys (win!)
some serious silliness,
and just so happens to come out later this summer!
It’s simple.
Adam’s gonna give us four themes (and four bonus themes!)
and you just read a kidlit book (any kind!) from that theme and comment on the blogpost about what you read.
Naturally, there’s a prize.
I can’t give it ALL away (you’ll have to visit his post to see all the themes!)
but I’ll tell you the two themes I’ve already checked off my list:
Read a book that features and adventure or trip
and
Read a book about the beach or the ocean.
I love this idea because it makes me look at the books I have and the books I pick up at the library in a different way.
So, will you take the bookdare?
I’ll do my roundup at the end of the month so you can see what fit into what category.
