This has been a fun week.
Back in Santa Cruz, and back to real life I suppose.
Here are some things I found interesting this week:
Gene Luen Yang‘s speech about diversity in children’s books will inspire you, guaranteed.
This publisher’s choice to NOT sell their new book on Amazon.
Pump up your writing and revising process with some easy acting tips from one of my favorites, Marcie Colleen, on a blog of another favorite, Tara Lazar.
I’m no parent but these tips look great! from another favorite, Debbie Ohi
Amazing ideas for lunch box notes…again, not a parent but notes are for everyone!
And finally, an art installation that I REALLY want to do, from a blog that’s becoming a fast favorite.
The Instagram picture is of me and my immersion blender.
After being in Wisconsin and having smoothies everyday,
I decided I wanted to make them too.
This thing is AMAZING!
So much power!
So little space to store it!
So fun to watch all the fruits and veggies turn into a drink!
Anyone have any go-to smoothie recipes?
I’m sort of a kitchen sinker and I throw in whatever I have 🙂
Also, this is one of two pictures taken with me and the blender.
The first was taken a bit further away, with what I would call a “normal” smile.
I took a look at this picture, and said, “I think I look a bit crazy,”
but then thought, “I AM crazy about this blender.”
I decided not to edit and just put MY favorite picture on social media,
but the one that represented the moment the best,
since, really, that’s what I take pictures to do.
Alright, have a good week!
