Hey everyone!
First, let me say I had A BLAST! reading poetry aloud everyday in September.
I’m almost done the Billy Collins book.
When I finish, I will update that post with my FAVORITE poems 🙂
That way I can keep everything in the same place.
Here is my poetry book for this month,
featuring horrible hotel room lighting
and a great piece of art on the wall:
Different Hours by Stephen Dunn
I’ll be reading aloud from it
and hope that the taste of good words
will stay with me when I’m working on my own stories or poems 🙂
And yes, it’s only been one month,
but I can already see an improvement in my writing.
And, reading poetry is good for the soul!
I’ll also start collecting the archives at the end of each post,
that way stumbling upon any one post will
allow you to discover lots of poetry.
It’ll be like a poetry bonanza!!!
