Artist Date: Charles Schulz Museum.

The outside of the building

Up in Santa Rosa is a museum you really need to go to if you love The Peanuts.
And if you don’t…..well, how could you not?

I had a great time looking over the exhibits, snapping photos, and remembering how it felt to read the comics everyday in the paper….I loved the Sunday one the most, of course. My mom really likes the Peanuts, even made these little plaques with Snoopy and friend stickers on them. So I’ve had my training. Come along on a visual story!

Some metal art of the characters!
A mural that Charles Schulz did. The owners of the house painstakingly peeled off four layers of paint to find this treasure! Look for an early version of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Lucy!
High school sketches by Schulz
What his work station looked like!
Some kid artwork in the art room!
Made up of Peanuts comics strips. Mo Willems was at that table!!
Catching the leaf
Snoopy supervises.
one piece of a good comic on the wall!
We had this game!
Yes, comics in the bathroom too.
Literally the first thing I saw when I got closer to the doors....yes, a flattened penny machine! SCORE!
The kite tree. See the kite up there?
The first writing in the journal. Do you see the mistake?
The fixed version.
Woodstock
Woodstock in my journal, crayon rubbing,
Snoopy wood plaque
Snoopy Crayon rubbing.
Again, Paris. See Notre Dame?
I love this tree.
Eating cookies.

I had a blast!
