63-65: Boogie and Dream in a box.

As promised, this first book is by an author that’s already been in Reading Journal. This was one of my favorites though, from the puns to the sweet dance moves and rhymes! The second book is poetry, and this is just the start of it. More is coming in March from Reading Journal. He kind of had a phase you could say, so more is coming. I bet you know this poet though. And the third book is so simple and so charming that I dare you to not go out and get it and read it.

Right now.
Ok, please scroll down first.
Then you can go!

So RJ books 63, 64, and 65 are:

Boogie Knights by Lisa Wheeler, illustrated by Mark Siegel
The Dream Keeper and other Poems by Langston Hughes, illustrations by Helen Sewell
and
Not a box by Antoinette Portis

Boogie down!
Dreamy
Is that a box?

Whew! Didn’t that feel good? Three books?
What’s next you ask?
I’ll tell you.
Hope you’re sitting down folks, because we’re doing four books.
If you made a mashup of these books, you’d have stranded cats who have magical powers, aided by a wonderful pet snake who has grammar problems.

Now you know you don’t want to miss tomorrow.
until then, read and write on!
